Temari means student. We build for the Ethiopian school day as it actually runs: the right calendar, prices in plain numbers, and pages that open on the phones people already carry.

What is wrong
Most school software sold in Ethiopia was designed somewhere else. The calendar is wrong, the names are wrong, the assumption of fast internet and office computers is wrong, and the school pays for all of it.
Where we started
Temari started from the opposite end: the Ethiopian school as it actually runs. Two semesters starting in Meskerem, continuous assessment feeding ranked report cards, fees paid by Telebirr and bank transfer, families reached by SMS because that is what reaches them.
From Addis Ababa
We build Temari from Addis Ababa as a single platform, so that the office, the classroom and the family all read from the same record instead of three different ones.
How we work
Plain numbers, no surprises
Our revenue is simple subscriptions with prices stated up front. Schools and families always know exactly what Temari costs.
Families are not an afterthought
Plenty of parents have no smartphone and no data. SMS, each person's own language and accounts for students without a phone were designed in from the beginning.
Correct before clever
Frozen results, money you can trace and careful engineering come before any new feature. A school that cannot trust its records cannot use the software at all.
