What the Grade 12 exam is
The Ethiopian University Entrance Examination (EUEE) is the national exam at the end of Grade 12. Students call it the entrance exam or the matric, and its certificate name is the ESSLCE. Your total score across your stream's subjects decides whether you enter university and which programs are open to you.
It is a points game. A handful of extra correct answers across six subjects can move you past a placement cutoff, which is why steady practice aimed at your weakest chapters, under real time pressure, beats cramming in the last month.

Which subjects does the EUEE cover?
Natural science students sit English, Mathematics, Aptitude, Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Social science students sit English, Mathematics, Aptitude, Geography, History and Economics. Temari covers both streams.

247 past papers from 15 exam years between 1996 and 2018 E.C., in 10 subjects: 17,908 questions, each with its answer and a worked explanation. You can practice them by subject and year or sit them on a clock.

Is there a Grade 12 matric app I can download?

Results come from the Educational Assessment and Examinations Service, and there are three official ways to check: the results portal at result.eaes.et, the EAES Telegram bot (@EAESbot), and a text with your registration number to 6284, which works without internet. Temari does not hold your result. Our results page explains each route and what to do next.
