The short answer
Temari.et is an education platform built in Addis Ababa for Ethiopian schools and students. For a school it is the working system of record: enrollment, attendance with smart ID cards, school fees with QR verified receipts, continuous assessment, report cards, the government roster in the bureau's format, timetables, lesson plans, HR and payroll, inventory, and SMS to parents in the language each family reads.
For a student it is a study platform: free practice for the Grade 6, Grade 8 and Grade 12 national exams, past entrance papers with answer keys and worked explanations, chapter notes that follow the national textbooks, and an optional AI tutor. A student does not need their school to use Temari; a free account with a phone number is enough.
The name is the Amharic word for student, ተማሪ. The platform speaks the Ethiopian calendar and Ethiopian naming end to end, and it is built to work on any phone over a weak connection.

The core platform is 200 ETB per student per year, paid by the parent at registration, so the school carries no software cost for it. A new school runs a full semester before paying anything. The optional School Plan is 10 ETB per student per month, and the optional student AI upgrade is 199 ETB per month. Exam practice is free.
