The Grade 12 results are out. This is where to check yours.
The Ministry announced the result on 22 August 2026, and it reaches students on 24 or 25 August. There are three official routes and no fourth one.

All three need your registration number exactly as it appears on your admission card, leading zeros included.

The assessment service's own site. On the day a result comes out it is slow or unreachable for the first few hours, because half a million people refresh it at once. The same service also answers at result.neaea.gov.et.

Nobody has your score before those three do
The week a result is released is the week the fake result pages come back, asking for a registration number, a phone number or a payment in exchange for an early look. No third party gets the scores first, and that includes us. A card claiming a national pass rate of 93 percent was going around a day before the real announcement.

What happens next
The Ministry has announced the three decisions that follow the result. This is where each one leaves you.

If you passed, your university is on the placement portal
The Ministry published university placement on 16 September 2026 at student.ethernet.edu.et. A complaint about a placement had to be filed online within five days.

From 240 for men and 228 for women, the remedial year
Those are the marks out of 600 for the 2019 E.C. remedial programme, and four supported groups enter at 37 percent of the marks. Students at the mark chose their institution on the student portal from Meskerem 7 to 11 (17 to 21 September 2026).

Teacher training colleges set their own marks
The Ministry set the 2019 E.C. college marks between 150 and 215, depending on the programme and the group.

The 2019 E.C. exam is the next chance. The past papers and the mock papers for it are free on Temari, and an account takes about a minute.
