Some NGAT candidates have been moved to a different university

Registration for the National Graduate Admission Test was open at every public university, but only some of them were selected to host the examination. Universities that were left off the list complained to the Educational Assessment and Examination Services, which answered that it cannot deploy the central coordinators and federal police it needs to run the test at every campus. Candidates who registered at a university that is not a centre have been transferred to another one, and the service has asked them to sit at the nearby campus they were assigned. The test is expected on Nehase 20 and 21, 2018 E.C., which is 26 and 27 August 2026.

Why some universities are not centres

Several universities put their objection to the assessment service in writing. The reply was about capacity rather than the institutions themselves: running the test needs coordinators sent from the centre and federal police on site, and the service said there are campuses where it cannot place both.

Registration had been handled at every public university, which is why the list of centres is shorter than the list of places people signed up at. The candidates affected have been reassigned, and the service asked them to prepare and to appear at the nearby university they were given.
